SUAY is pausing our repair services to launch a groundbreaking program for the individual and industry alike, reopening in early 2024.

Need a fixed zipper? button missing? holes in your clothing? ripped seams? pockets no longer pockets? From knits to denim, outdoor gear to heirloom garments, Suay Sew Shop has got you covered and mended.
Suay Sew Shop is dedicated to extending the life of textiles and keeping textiles out of our landfills. Cost of repairs range in price on a tiered system of time and labor. All proceeds go to supporting LA garment workers and our textile recycling program.
When we re-open repairs, drop off your clothing to be repaired any day of the week between 10am-5pm at SUAY (2915 Knox Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90039). You'll be provided a quote on the cost of repair(s) after evaluation. Please allow 3-4 weeks for common repairs. Specialty repairs will be given an estimated time of completion depending on the labor and needs of the repair.

Want to know about the repair revolution? Suay Sew Shop CEO, Lindsay Medoff, was recently interviewed by NYLON Magazine breaking down the radical impact of textile repair. Check out the article here.

Though we encourage you to drop off your reparables any day of the week, our 'Save It Saturdays' are here to build community and encourage you to spend part of your weekend in Frogtown. Stop by our store any time between 10am-5pm on Saturday to drop off your textiles to be mended, and visit our friends at Just What I Kneaded and Wax Paper, too. Save It Saturdays are hosted by our dear friend and low-waste/gardening/cooking goddess, Cindy Villaseñor.
